"I am excited to announce that our CCP Workforce Pathways spring course schedule is now available (attached). The Career and College Promise (CCP) Workforce Pathways are designed for eligible high school juniors and seniors to earn industry-recognized credentials while still in high school. CCP Workforce Pathway courses count for high school credit contingent on the school administrator’s approval. Through the CCP program, the $180 registration fee is waived; students are only responsible for covering the cost of local fees, textbooks, and associated supplies/materials. Scholarships to cover these costs are available for eligible students. The following pathways are available at participating schools in our four-county service area: EMT, HVAC Technician, CDL Truck Driving, Phlebotomy Technician, Pharmacy Technician, Nurse Aide I, and Small Engine Repair. We also offer the North Carolina Firefighter Certification program (with a $500 scholarship opportunity each semester) and National Career Readiness Certificate Testing."
The registration process for CCP Workforce Pathway courses is simple:
Ask your principal or school counselor to complete a Verification of Eligibility Form and attach a copy of your unofficial school transcript.
Complete a Continuing Education Student Registration Form.
3. Bring these forms to the Beaufort County Community College Building 8 front desk to register. The $180 registration fee is waived. However, you will need to submit payment for any local fees. For questions about the registration process, please contact us at 252-940-6375 or email@example.com.
