Hello Washington County Early College!
I am excited and honored to join your Pack this year. I graduated from East Carolina University with a Bachelor of Music (BM) in Education and I received my Masters in School Administration and my Ed.S in Educational Research and Policy Analysis from North Carolina State University.
I began my education career in Johnston County where I served as a band director until my promotion to Assistant Principal in Wake County. I have served as a school administrator for 20 years all in my home state of North Carolina. I live in Plymouth, North Carolina, with my wife Melissa. We have four children, Elizabeth, Rebekah, Rachel, and Josiah. Elizabeth has just recently graduated from UNC-CH and is a Carolina Corps. College advisor for North Lenoir High School, Rebekah, Rachel, and Josiah will all be students at The Washington County Early College this year. Rebekah will be a Senior and Rachel and Josiah will be Freshmen.
I am proud to be your new principal. I am also proud of the students I serve, the parents who support the teachers and the teachers who give tirelessly to our students every day. And above all else, I am proud to be a WCECHS Wolf!
