I graduated from Washington County High School as well as Beaufort County Community College with an Associates in Arts Degree. I am the oldest of four daughters who grew up in a single family home. I will be the first generation college student in my family. Throughout my years in high school, I have been involved in several community outreach programs. I am President of the National Honor Society, President of HOSA, Corporal in Explorers Post 0358, Clerk of Court in Teen Court, Student Ambassador at my high school, and a member of ECSU Upward Bound Program. While serving in these extra-curricular activities, I did participate in sock drives for Nursing Homes, Christmas Giveaways to the Nursing Homes, Pop Tab donations to Ronald McDonald House, Food Can Drive for the Salvation Army, Back to School Supplies for less fortunate students in my community, Helmet Donation for kids who ride bikes but couldn't afford helmets, Feed the Community and Community Clean Ups. Upon graduating from WCHS, I will be attending East Carolina University majoring in nursing.
